Well , car piled high with 25 pairs of jeannies shoes , 29 million bikinis , case of wine from DH fridge plugged in , braesola olives rocket hummous compliments Emer and away they went in the rain yet again to Rosslare . Time for coffee en route , and rolled on to the magnificent liner that is Irish Ferries !! Suite no 809, hey no dressing room or room service , or liitle boy to unpack for the girlie whirlies so up to the child free zone with us and a few glasses of their premier cru white ( I wish ) !!!

We both slept for Ireland and a despite the weather being absolutely shite the seas were reasonably calm . Roll on roll off and on the road for Brive by 11.20 Friday .
800kilometres later , one packet of Lu chocolate biscuits later we arrived in Brive , the most beautiful town , and thanks to the fabulous navigator and map reader we checked into a fab hotel with a vast wine menu and delicious fare !!! oh and not to forget my sat nav Rick which was precise about absolutely everything !!
